What a pleasure it is to be here. I always enjoy the opportunity to speak at museums that appreciate history.

It sounds odd to say — not all museums appreciate history or what it takes to put together a presentation on the people and places that make locations unique.

We live in a crazy world, and we’re always looking forward, it seems. I like to take the opportunity to ponder the past for a moment — to understand the events of the past that led us to the world we know today.
